SAKVK-Gaddipally organised the valedictory session for DAESI inputs dealers of batch 2022-23. In this programme Suryapet District Agriculture Officer Sri. Sridhar Reddy participated as chief guest and addressed the dealers that they should inform the farmers what they have learned in the desi course and work to increase their yields. The dealers who have completed the DAESI course asked the farmers who came to their shops, identified their problems they are facing in their respective crops and recommend the right herds by providing quality chemical fertilizers and pesticides to achieve high yields. They are advised to act judiciously not to give the pesticides even after the expiry date. They should advise and educate the farmers on the use of organic living fertilizers along with chemical fertilizers and thereby help in maintaining soil health. In this programme KVK Senior Scientist and Head (I/c) D. Naresh said that dealers of the desi course should use appropriate latest technologies to use in pest management. In this meeting, some dealers who completed the daesi course shared their experiences and said that due to this daesi course, they were able to learn about the best management practices to be practiced in the cultivation of various crops, the cultivation of mixed crops, integrated agricultural practices, and the benefits of using organic fertilizers. In this programme Daesi Course Facilitator P. Shankar Rao said about the responsibilities of dealers after completion of this course. Later certificates were distributed to the candidates who successfully completed the Daesi course. Later, Sridhar Reddy district agriculture officer was honored with shawl and flower garlands.
