Activity : KVK Scientists have organised Training cum distribution of critical inputs to tribal farmers under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP). In this programme critical inputs like Azadirachtin, Sticky Traps (Yellow, blue and white)and Solar Light Trap. In this programme B. Lavakumar KVK Senior Scientist & Head (I/c) have explained about the importance of integrated pest management. Suggested to uptake IPM practices which reduces the cost of cultivation to farmer and doesn’t harm the beneficial insects in the environment while management of pest. In this programme D. Adarsh, SMS Plant Protection explained about the installation of a solar light trap and sticky traps in the field and how they control the pests. In this programme Ch. Naresh, SMS Horticulture explained about Integrated Nutrient Management in vegetable crops.
