SAKVK, Gaddipally conducted one day awareness program for farmers, traders and dal mill owners on WDRA (Warehouse development regulatory authority) and NWR (Negotiable warehouse receipt) at KVK campus on Thursday (28.12.2023). In this programme NIPHM Assistant director Dr A Mariadoss attended as chief guest and spoke about what is WDRA and NWR and rodent management in Warehouses. D. Naresh, KVK Incharge PC spoke about storing food grains at government registered godowns rather than storing at private godowns and reason for losses happening at Warehouses. D. Adarsh, SMS Plant Protection explained about various pests and diseases infesting stored procedure and its management practices. Also talked about E-nam, NWR, how to get NWR and Marketing of produce in National Markets using NWR. Later all farmers were taken inside SWC, Nereducherla godowns and shown scientific management of godowns. In this programme KVK scientist A. Kiran, SRF Anil and 50 farmers participated.
